Ghost Apache Ranch offers a world-class opportunity to enjoy the big bucks of South Texas. Few habitats offer the abundance of wild game found only in the brush country of South Texas.
In the bush
You will definitely know you are “in the bush” once you arrive in this wild semi-desert thorn bush country that resembles the African wilderness. Big deer thrive on the high-protein brush native to an area known as the Golden Triangle. This area is famous for the quality and quantity of record book whitetail grown in North America. Be sure to ask about our large African plains game.
A one-of-a-kind adventure
Come experience a unique adventure, with over 9,000 acres of high fence including 4 miles of Nueces River frontage bottomland. Ghost Apache is in a class of its own even in South Texas, with a majority of the ranch consisting of old native brush and considered “unimproved”, in cattle production terminology. The land provides a diverse high-protein diet exceeding 20% in the winter and summer seasons. This native year-round high-protein forage is why South Texas is famous for big-antlered deer.

- Evidence of blood, meat, or bone is counted as harvested animal.

Dove Packages
DIY Dove
Ideal for groups that like their own personal touch and grilling. The camp package saves money and allows for those that like a “Do It Yourself” hunting experience.
Option 1
Afternoon hunt with an overnight stay and day 2 morning hunt. Depart by noon. $250/hunter
Option 2
Arrive day 1 at noon and depart day 3 after morning hunt. 4 potential hunts at $125/hunt. $500/hunter
Both options include lodging, soft drinks in camp, directions to the field, fully equipped kitchen, fire pit and BBQ grill.
Option 3
Day hunt. Includes directions to field. $150/hunter
The Dove Package is available during the South Zone season. * Fees do not include shotgun shells, hunting licenses, gratuities, meals, alcohol, or personal gear. Steel shot only.
Casa Reserva Dove
This package consists of 3 days and 2 nights, double room suite occupancy, bunk room accommodations, meals, wine and beer, 3 hunts, sporting clays, transportation to and from the field, guides, bird processing and packaging.One of the finest hunting Haciendas in Texas. This is an excellent accommodation for entertaining corporate and customer groups. Visit the Casa Reserva tab for images.

Lodging: Hunting Camp
Included with the hunting package (deer, dove & quail). Ghost Apache Ranch has a very comfortable on-site hunting camp for do it yourself accommodations. Three cabins sleep 4 to 6 guests each and can be set up for private accommodations for families and private parties. Cabins have fully furnished kitchenettes, each with a microwave, stove top and refrigerator. The cabins are ideal for those that like their own personal touch in camp.
Dining is centrally located in the “Palapa” and allows guests to come together, enjoy a warm fireplace and share the day’s events.
Lodging: Casa Reserva
Stay in one of the finest hunting haciendas in south Texas. Breathtaking architecture complete with three suites (double occupancy) and two bunk rooms that sleep 20 for a total of 26 guests. Perfect for corporate groups. Relax after the hunt in our world class cantina and enjoy exquisite meals prepared by our onsite chef. Minimum 2 suites or 4 quests for lodging. Visit "Casa Reserva" for a tour.

Ghost Apache Ranch Policies
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your dates.
- No refunds or cancellations. However, dates can be rescheduled in the current hunting season.
- Any drawn blood is counted as a kill.
- All hunts are subject to regulations and limits of the State of Texas.
- *Waived with per diem hunts or standard lodging at Casa Reserva.
- Steel shot on all wing shooting.
- No road hunting or high rack hunting
- 20 MPH speed limit.
- Stop at all intersections.
