Pursue big bucks
Ghost Apache Ranch offers a world-class opportunity to enjoy the big bucks of South Texas. Few habitats offer the abundance of wild game found only in the brush country of South Texas.
In the bush
You will definitely know you are “in the bush” once you arrive in this wild semi-desert thorn bush country that resembles the African wilderness. Big deer thrive on the high-protein brush native to an area known as the Golden Triangle. This area is famous for the quality and quantity of record book whitetail grown in North America. Be sure to ask about our large African plains game.
A one-of-a-kind adventure
Come experience a unique adventure, with over 9,000 acres of high fence including 4 miles of Nueces River frontage bottomland. Ghost Apache is in a class of its own even in South Texas, with a majority of the ranch consisting of old native brush and considered “unimproved”, in cattle production terminology. The land provides a diverse high-protein diet exceeding 20% in the winter and summer seasons. This native year-round high-protein forage is why South Texas is famous for big-antlered deer.

Deer Packages
The Deer Package features 6 hunts /4 days of lodging at La Casa Reserva. Arrive at noon day one depart noon day four.

Day 4 Sunday - 1 Hunt
Our youth (12 years and under) hunting package includes a $1,500 mature 8-point buck. All deer hunts include complimentary mixed game of hogs, coyotes, 2 javelina and does.
Non-hunting guest $300 per day.
The Hunt fee is based on the Gross B&C (Boone & Crockett) Score:

- Evidence of blood, meat, or bone is counted as harvested animal.
- Specific breeder bucks on file with the ranch are not included.
- Any doe or buck killed with ear tags is $25,000
- Matching broken points are added back to score.
- All hunts from designated blinds.
Casa Reserva Small Game
This package consists of 3 days and 2 nights, double room suite occupancy, bunk room accommodations, meals, wine and beer, 3 hunts, sporting clays, transportation to and from the field, guides, bird processing and packaging. One of the finest hunting Haciendas in Texas. This is an excellent accommodation for entertaining corporate and customer groups. Visit the Casa Reserva tab for images.
Game Includes: Dove, Quail, Turkey, Hogs, Doe, and 1 Javalina, 129 7/8 Management Buck.

Guests and family members not participating in deer or quail packages are welcome to enjoy Ghost Apache Ranch. Come for birding, hiking, biking, photography and the fascination of South Texas brush country during beautiful game drives. Per Diem hunts listed below are perfect for guests and family members, too!
Lodging: Casa Reserva
Stay in one of the finest hunting haciendas in south Texas. Breathtaking architecture complete with three suites (double occupancy) and two bunk rooms that sleep 20 for a total of 26 guests. Perfect for corporate groups. Relax after the hunt in our world class cantina and enjoy exquisite meals prepared by our onsite chef. Minimum 2 suites or 4 quests for lodging. Ghost Apache Ranch Policies
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your dates.
- No refunds or cancellations. However, dates can be rescheduled in the current hunting season.
- Any drawn blood is counted as a kill.
- All hunts are subject to regulations and limits of the State of Texas.
- *Waived with per diem hunts or standard lodging at Casa Reserva.
- Steel shot on all wing shooting.
- No road hunting or high rack hunting
- 20 MPH speed limit.
